Support the efforts to Recover Japan

In response to the catastrophe of the March 11 Earthquake and Tsunami, KSG/HKS Club of Japan, the official alumni association of Harvard Kennedy School, is helping the efforts to recover Japan.
For whom wish to give donations from overseas, we have selected several NPOs, which are all executing the credible relief efforts in the North-East Japan, responding to the recent tragic event.
Please note that this list does not mean any official commitments by KSG/HKS Club of Japan to these organizations. For donations, please visit each organization's webpage to see whether it meets your criteria or intention.

AAR JAPAN Association for Aid and Relief, Japan (AAR JAPAN) is a Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) aiming to provide emergency assistance, assistance to people with disabilities, and mine action, among other operations. Any donation will go towards improving the life of someone desperately in need.
AMDA Association of Medical Doctors of Asia, in short AMDA, is an international organization dedicated to realize a peaceful world community through humanitarian efforts in medical health care sector. Your contribution, regardless of the amount, will go a long way in bringing much needed help to these disaster areas.
Civic Force Civic Force responds to domestic humanitarian disasters in Japan. Currently, they are delivering urgently needed relief services in the hardest-hit isolated areas of Northeast Japan following the massive earthquake and tsunami on March 11, 2011.
Japan Platform Japan Platform (JPF) is an international emergency humanitarian aid organization made up of 32 Japanese NGOs, the business community, and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan. Your donation supports activities of JPF.
JEN JEN put utmost efforts into restoring a self-supporting livelihood both economically and mentally to those people who have been stricken with hardship due to conflicts and disasters. Your donation supports activities of JEN.
Medecins Sans Frontieres Medecines Sans Frontieres is a private international association. The association is made up mainly of doctors and health sector workers. It provides assistance to populations in distress, to victims of natural or man-made disasters and to victims of armed conflict. Your donation supports activities of Medecins Sans Fronrieres.
JOICFP JOICFP supports people in the hardest hit areas of Japan, especially girls and women in this difficult time. JOICFP will focus on MDG5, improving maternal health, responding to reproductive health (RH) needs of women and mothers in affected areas, which is most often overlooked in disaster relief activities.
Peace Winds Japan Peace Winds Japan is an NGO, dedicated to the support of people in distress, threatened by conflict, poverty, or other turmoil. 100% of your donation supports disaster relief operations of Peace-Winds Japan.
SHARE SHARE is an nongovernment organization (NGO) that engages in international cooperation through health promotion. SHARE will be dispatching Medical Doctors and Nurses to outskirts of Sendai City, Miyagi Prefecture immediately and is now accepting donations for our medical emergency support
SVA Shanti Volunteer Association (SVA) has been implementing emergency relief domestically and internationally. Your donation will be used to provide relief activities – providing hot meals and necessary materials to the victims.
